Mock trial prepares for competition
The students in mock trial have a murder case in their hands. The students have to act as attorneys and witnesses. One of the advisors, Sarah hamilton, says that they have been learning the case since the beginning of the year.
“Mock Trial” is where students are given a legal case that they must act out,” Hamilton said.
The students only have one competition, Mar. 1st. Hamilton says that the team researches the themes, learn the characters and work on asking the right questions.
“I think that we will do great; they’ve learned a lot since the beginning of the year,” Hamilton said.
